Kamer Vishi is a PhD Research Fellow in Cyber Security at the Department of Informatics, University of Oslo, Norway. He is currently working on Smartphone Multimodal Biometrics, which is part of SWAN Project funded by the Norwegian Research Council (Norges forskningsråd).
Kamer received two master degrees, one in Information Security from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Gjøvik, Norway; and the other in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from University of Oslo, Norway. Furthermore, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Prishtina University, Kosovo.
His research interests in computer science are in the areas of cybersecurity, biometrics, machine learning, identity management, risk management and compliance, cryptography, IT governance, application security, IPS/IDS solutions, penetration testing, and network security.
His free time interest is web development and graphic design.
Kamer has served on many conference and workshop program committees and is the Publicity Chair for The Norwegian Information Security Conference (NISK) 2017.
